OPEN works at grassroots level to build resilience among the vulnerable communities by providing services on healthy living, Protection, Nutrition, WASH, sustainable livelihood & Education for all.

 Educations

We are Implementing Inclusive Education to address special needs, girl child, street children, orphans and child soldiers, Promote Alternative Education through functional Adult Literacy targeting all the adult who have interest in learning and Teacher Education with specific area of building the capacity of early childhood development (ECD) and Primary school teachers based on South Sudan Education Curriculum.

Finally Establishment of Education Resource Centers to promote vibrant learning through authentic research

 

 

Protection from violence

We work using Humanitarian law that applies in armed conflict, restricting the actions of warring parties, providing for protection and humane treatment of persons who are not taking part or can no longer take part in the hostilities. OPEN will do Advocacy, treatment and Protection of conflict affected and Victims of domestic violence through provision of basic services to meet their immediate needs.

 

 

 

 

WASH (Water, Sanitation& Hygiene)

OPEN aims at providing WASH services to people at risk of disease outbreak due to the ongoing conflict in South Sudan as well as displaced populations, host communities with limited access to clean water and sanitation facilities.

 

 

Health

We do community based surveillance to inform early intervention, preventing health problems, community awareness to promote good health, diagnosis, treatment and care for people with health problems With special focus to comprehensive integrated basic health & nutrition packages .

 

Food Security & Sustainable Livelihoods

OPEN provides capacity building for famer field schools to improve agricultural outputs and also Vocational training for youth & women, multi purpose grants for person with special needs and income generating activities tailored vulnerable empowerment and recovery.

 

 

 

Nutrition

OPEN is targeting reduction in SAM and MAM treatment through provision of life saving assistance

.

 

 

Emergencies

We build communities’ resilience and support children’s right to dignity and protection before, during and after disasters and conflicts
